Sucks to see it go because me and my kids really did love and enjoy living here and we made lots of good memories. Maybe in the future I can come back one day. We had a 3 bedroom on the second floor and really the only thing that really got on my last nerve was the trash compactor situation for the entire complex, other than that I really have no complaints about this place. Maintenance was swift, the rental office addressed all of your concerns or issues, loved the master bathroom and how deep the tub was and none of the toilets sat low to the ground like regular apartments, rooms where an excellent size compared to most apartments in VA that make you pay $1500+ for something boxed in with no space whatsoever, so you get everything your penny pays for here!! However the water got really cold really fast and the kitchen was sorta small but honestly it’s the best apartment I’ve ever had with an excellent amount of space. So long Warks Crescent, it was a pleasure, until next time!

Me and my Family lived at Parkside for about a year before recently relocating to another state. We loved it here and if we didn’t move we would be staying. We have lived at two other complexes in Newport News but this was by far the best. The price and size of apartment is great because most apartments dont have as much space for the amount. Maintenance was prompt and very friendly! All the management during our time Ms.Karen and now Mr.Kyle were very welcoming and have positive attitudes all the time! I’ve always felt comfortable to reach out with any questions or concerns. Ms.Christy is also great she responds to everything in a timely manner and handles all matters professionally. It’s quiet and neighbors are friendly. Minor issues were trash compactor issues and residents leaving trash outside compactor but overall this didn’t bother us because we understand it’s an apartment and it’s not going to 100% perfect. They always made sure to update residents through text and portal of any upcoming events or things being done around the apartment well in advance. 🙂

My husband and I took off work to come to a scheduled apartment viewing- confirmed via email. The leasing office was empty, and no one was at the apartment we were supposed to be seeing. No response to our calls either. We won't be considering Parkside again.

Current resident at Parkside at Charles St. You definitely get what you pay for out here!!! I work odd hours and I always feel SAFE coming home, no matter the hour. Karen and Christy in the rent office are great, they plan awesome events monthly to encourage community engagement and you don't really find that at other complexes. Jose and Carlos are great with making sure the maintenance requests are closed out in a timely manner. I have no complaints and I'm grateful to be a part of the Breeden family!!!
