Although I do appreciate many of the services in the state of Delaware! There are some underlying issues in which the state has not acknowledged! Lack of documented support! Lack of transparency! And a non-existent emergency response or just the name the major improvements that are needed in this agency! And in agencies throughout Delaware! However Sussex County Social Service System is well integrated! And V supports are automatically given seeking help in that county! I will pray but all of you will be able to find the help you need! Unfortunately for me it had to take five years of domestic violence issues with my son. Constant calls to the state police! Advocacy from my church and the mayor's office to receive help with my son who suffers from autism and aggression syndrome!

Respite payments arrive ridiculously late 1 month+ I think only one person is in charge for every single respite payment. I was already told by my provider which has been caring for my child for over 5 years that he might not keep providing services due to the amount of time it takes DDD to pay! This is very frustrating! There should really be a better system for this instead of waiting almost 2 months for a payment.

A very neat place. Good customer service. I went for interview and not for service, but I liked the way the place is well kept. Very professional. The staff was friendly.
