I just had to use these movers yesterday under the impression that since there was only one hour minimum that they might be a little more affordable than everyone else. This was a simple one bedroom apartment move to a two-bedroom apartment of similar size. I originally scheduled the move for 3:00 p.m. and get a call the day before from one of the managers saying that it would really help them if we moved it to 2:00 p.m. because the prior move may not take as long. I told them I was willing to work with them if they got done earlier to give me a call at least 30 minutes in advance to check to see if I was ready. Moving day rolls around, and I get a call around 1:00 with the lead movers telling me that they were 9 minutes away. I wasn't necessarily prepared but tried to get everything ready as fast as I could. There were three gentlemen in a large truck when I was under the assumption that there would be two. Normally this would be wonderful but I was reminded in the very beginning that they accept tips which made me feel a bit awkward as I've never had to use movers before and this was new information but I've been in the service industry for a good part of my life and I understand and have no aversion to tipping. When they got there it seemed like it took them a while to get started. I hired them because I didn't want to have to do the move myself but it seems like it was taking so long that I went ahead and started helping them when I realized I had been 30 minutes or more and nothing had actually been done for real. I will note on their behalf that the guys had a great attitudes and they were very nice and courteous. Unfortunately it seemed like I, being twice their age or so, was moving faster than them while helping them do the job I paid them to do when I didn't expect to have to do anything when they showed up earlier than I expected with little notice. I didn't want to waste my money because moving is pretty expensive apparently. I had to help them get my washer and dryer out of the tight space it was in a because they seem like they couldn't care to figure it out themselves. I was under the impression that they were professionals and could figure it out on their own. I ended up having to figure out how to get it out and do most of the heavy lifting myself which was very disappointing. We finally got everything to the new place and got everything unloaded pretty quickly. Last evening while unpacking, I noticed that one of my boxes that was clearly marked fragile that had dishes in it and was padded well had some broken plates in it. That was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I was going to use their service again to help my mother move but at this point it would just be easier for me to do it myself. If a company is charging per hour and they take their sweet time and end up breaking things in boxes that are clearly marked fragile then I have no use for their business. I normally would never post a complaint online but sometimes this is the only way to get a company to correct problems since they already have my money and there's nothing I can really do about it now. The total including the 99.00 down payment ended up being around $600 after a $40ish tip. I gave them two stars because of their friendly service but I'm not paying for friendship, I'm paying for results.

I had a great experience with these guys! I was well informed of what to expect, and there were no financial "surprises" after they were done. They gave me an estimate for three movers, but once the job was underway, the third person didn't really do much moving, so they only charged me for two movers. They were also so friendly and personable the entire time. I recommend them for any move or junk removal you may have, 100%!

Robert and Zach showed up on time, and both thoroughly and quickly removed a large amount of junk from our backyard. They were very friendly and weven came back the next day after I forgot to mention a piece that needed to be included. Very nice and professional team - highly recommend!

I've used this group twice now and have had excellent results both times. THe second time included three locations - a new residence, a storage unit and then clearing out junk from the old residence. Reeves and Robert were great on the front end, and on the day of, Cam and Jay were friendly, helpful and hard-working. I don't know how they got it all done in the time frame they did. I highly recommend them.

This was the fourth time I have used college hunks for my various moves. As usual, they did an exceptional job. Unfortunately we did have one little incident (which I understand because accidents do happen ). After the movers left, I called college hunks to report the damage, 5 minutes later a gentleman by the name of Robert Dasenbrock was calling me telling me he is going to get my problem resolved. Within 15 minutes. He was at my door coming to look at my damaged couch. A half hour later it was completely fixed. This gentleman was so kind, professional and knew exactly what needed to be done to make the customer happy. This gentleman went above and beyond. I had to send an email to his boss letting him know how extremely happy I was with the service I received from college hunks. Any moves I have in the near future I will definitely use them again and again. I highly recommend this company. Service was awesome. Pricing extremely competitive.

Robert and Adib are SO helpful! The gave me a thorough estimate on labor for a move and went the extra mile to give great recommendations on truck services and packing products. I can tell they were trying to look out for my best interest and help me have a stress free move.
