My boyfriend and I have been here for a couple of months now, and honestly we couldn't have picked a better place! We're new to the area and haven't found an apartment yet. Misty, the housekeeper, is super kind and makes sure we have everything we need. Jessi, who works at the desk, is super kind. Tujin, the owner, is incredibly accommodating and just a rad dude. The room was clean when we moved in, the heat/AC works fabulously, water pressure is grand, the tub has a stopper switch if you feel like a bath, sheets are soft and clean, coffee maker in the room, our bikes are safe outside, quiet neighborhood, cable TV and fast wifi, the list goes on. Oh and the washer and dryer work well!
Long story short, 11/10 would recommend 😁

My husband had to stay out of town for work and stayed here around midnight he called me on facetime to ask me what kind of bug was on him biting him wellll it was a bedbug so he had to get all of his stuff together and leave and go to another hotel had to leave his bag in the truck to make sure he wasn't carrying any bugs with him he had four bite marks on him. Then on his way home I made him make a trip to the dump and throw all of his stuff away just to make sure he didn't bring any home.

Stay at here! I’ve been on the road from Houston through LA, MS, TN , GA, and AL…hotels all the way. I checked in to Budgeted Inn in Scottsboro AL with expectations based on recent experience for prices/value experience. Wow, I’m so relieved to walk into a clean room, with coffee maker, plush pillows, four modern room lamps (in addition to vanity and bright bathroom/bath lighting), fresh smelling HVAC, mini fridge and microwave, TV , double mirrors, hair dryer (that I won’t use anyways 😆), soft mattress, etc. Thank you Anita for welcoming me with ease and humor. I wish I encountered this same staff and environment in every state I have to stop for the night.

Worst motel ever. They have roach bugs. Towels and bedding is very nasty. The prices are ridiculous. They charge way too much to stay there. Plus, the owner walks around very early in the mornings knocking on the door and saying that he's house keeping just to harass for money. And, their attitudes are very snobby.

Great hotel. Great price. Staff was excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean. Could not hear anything from the next room. Plenty of parking. No frills but for the price it is the place to stay. Air conditioner worked great. Plenty of hot water. We were very happy with our visit.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in North Alabama for the price! Clean rooms, powerful air conditioning, no bugs!! I've been here two weeks so far and haven't seen a single bug (i hate bugs!) The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating to every request. The bed is huge and soft! I wish I could rate 6 stars! The price and weekly rates cannot be beat!

The bathroom had a loose jiggly toilet and the shower backed up, there was some sort of makeup sponge thin in the drain so clearly they don't clean well. There were visible stains on the blanket, smaller than most rooms we stayed at on our trip. The cable was static-y and the desk gave us no wifi password. The whole vibe was weird. I think people live in these rooms because we pulled in and there is a crowd of people sitting in camp chairs at the front door in the parking lot, you go in and reception is more of a day care with little kids and toys scattered everywhere. Kids were riding bikes and scooters all over the parking lot and giving hand signs and little ones as small as Id say 6 or 7 flipping you off while I waited in the car for my husband to get out key. Some random person knocked on our door around midnight. I was so happy to get out of there.
The staff was fairly unfriendly. They acted like we were an inconvenience being there. We had made our reservation ahead of time and when we got there they didn't have the room we requested, I guess thinking we would leave but we were tired and said we'd take a different room and magically our other room was available

I came here cause it was the cheapest option and I was only going to be here a few days for work thing. The bad part is I’ve stayed in hotels for the same price that were way nicer. Now what was wrong with this place first the bathroom looks to have mold on the ceiling the bathtub when you take a shower fills up cause the dairn don’t work and when you switch the shower to the shower the faucet still goes. The skink had a hole in it which only was covered by tape. And my none smoking room has holes in the blanket that looked like cigarette burns.
