Purchased Microsoft 365 software through the Woot App (an Amazon Company). I received a validation code from Woot, but was unable to complete installation as it required setting up a recurring annual payment account, which I had no desire to do. Nowhere in the original listing was it stated a recurring account was required to unlock and install the product I paid for.

Both Microsoft and Woot provide only automated "robo" email customer support, which is utterly useless.

The end result: no refund, unable to install or use product I purchased, no way to speak with real customer service agents at Microsoft or Woot.

DO NOT BUY FORM THIS COMPANY. I purchased a temperature controlled travel mug (Ember). It did not charge upon being opened. I am on my 4th email to this company regarding a return. Each email comes with another step for me to do. They keep adding hurdles for me. I am an aged and disabled person who has difficulty functioning daily and this has been a nightmare. It still isn't finished.

I'm surprised so many people returned product and woot.com claimed returns are lost. This must be a scam and this really ruins Amazon's reputation.

I've had nothing but a good experience with customer support. Ironically all of my product problems have been with cameras. I have gotten a free replacement or refund twice now without issues, customer support responds quickly by email. I like shopping with woot.

The mismanagement of this company is breathtaking. Considering the amazing accuracy and efficiency of their parent company, Amazon, this really is something.

In reading several other reviews and glancing through many more, there's 1 theme in all of them- frustration. And it's every aspect of the entire organization- shipments, billing, customer service, deliveries, etc. There isn't just 1 area lacking in this company, the whole thing is a mess.

Part of my experience with them has several problems with my account they said started with my email being changed. So, I filled out the form and received email saying it had been changed. Still couldn't log in (just some snarky comment error message about me being fraudulent- pic attached). So I emailed customer service again (which is overseas and trained to send generic canned replies) saying email was successfully changed per their email (which I quoted in my reply). They said they couldn't help because my email was not the one on my account (yeah, the one they told me was just successfully changed). Now I'm going to keep emailing them to close my account and delete my data. I'm willing to bet that I get no reply or they say they can't do it because I'm requesting it from an email not registered to my account.

Amazon would have had this fixed in 10 minutes with 1 email or chat.

There's more to this going back months, but this latest is enough to give you a feel for how they do (or don't) do things.

I don't think I've ever seen so many 1-star reviews for any organization. Whoa! But I completely understand...

Come on Jeff, dump these clowns and protect your brand image. They're certainly not doing you any favors.

Buyer beware. Zero customer service, they have a phone number with a recording but no one answers and you get disconnected. I happened to try to call on the weekend and actually got a person but clearly a rep that is offshore and have no authority to do anything but read off scripted lines. I had purchased an iphone from them and the charging port didn't work (even took it to an Apple Store that verified it) - okay so I contact them, they send me a RMA and return label. I box everything up, ship it back. When I hadn't seen a refund after a couple of weeks I contacted them (via email as you can't get anyone on the phone) and was told that they never got the item. UPS clearly shows that the item was delivered to them and signed for and I sent them that proof (even though they could just track it themselves and see that it was delivered). I followed up again and they now want me to open up a "dispute with UPS"...!! Why on earth would I open up a dispute with UPS when they will simply point and say that it was delivered and signed for. I had to open up a dispute with my credit card company as they are refusing to refund me the money.

Site seems to offer good deals! Buyer beware! Item purchased and paid for shows up as shipped on their website. Tracking number can't be tracked and no product is received.
