So far so good! The team at Uptown Pup has been awesome to work with and our pup loves going in to see them. We’ve used several boarding options in the city and Uptown Pup has been the best for us. The team is always friendly at check in, very helpful if questions come up, and quick to respond to any messages or calls. Keep up the great work!

I’ve sent my dog here a handful of times and I can’t say enough good things about this place! As a helicopter mom this is the only place I trust to send my dog to. I even drive wayyyy out of the way to choose this place. They take all instructions for your dog seriously, and every time I call to check up on him get thorough updates and they’ll be honest with you if things aren’t going well. They do so well in making accommodations and recommendations for your dog! My Rohan is pretty anxious but has done the best here for sure! Thank you so much Uptown Pup for taking care of my boy when I have to leave town for work!!

Also, love the cameras in the penthouse suites. They are on at all hours so you can even make sure they’re sleeping ok at night ❤️

I have to add on to the praise for Uptown Pup. I have nothing but good things to say about daycare, boarding, training, and grooming experiences. I've been taking my golden retriever here since she was a small puppy, on recommendation from my vet.

The staff are very communicative and very willing to work with you if there are any special requests. I love that they all know my pup by name and love hearing about how her daycare day went and which other dog friends she has made in her day.

My pup was very anxious about all aspects of grooming and Alyssa has been fantastic at working with her and teaching me ways to help desensitize her to it. I've also worked with their trainers for puppy school and now individualized training and I love how easy it is to communicate with their trainers and send in additional questions.

What makes me feel best is how much my dog loves to come here. I can no longer say the word "school" around the house because she thinks it's time to go to Uptown Pup and gets so excited she can barely sit (but will absolutely sit to let me know she's ready to put on her harness to get in the car and go!). Clearly she's having a fantastic time every time she's there and comes home happy, tired, and ready for a long, long nap.

Uptown Pup has been a lifesaver! 🙌🏼 Prior to finding them, our dog had not been able to be groomed. We had multiple failed attempts of grooming sessions (no fault of the groomer), trials of anxiety medications, and a sedated groom. When we were finally at a loss, our behaviorist recommended Uptown Pup. I was skeptical that it wouldn’t work and our dog would never be able to be groomed, however, I was beyond wrong. Uptown Pup, specifically Katie Genier, has worked her magic on our pup. Following a rigid schedule with her, he is able to tolerate a lot more now than ever. He is by no means perfect when it comes to grooming yet but he has made amazing strides and I will be before thankful for her and this company.

We absolutely LOVE Uptown Pup. We are have a golden retriever and a chocolate lab, and love that they are OVERLY excited when we pull into the Uptown Pup parking lot. They love going there. So it always makes our decision to put them into daycare, or do any over-night boarding that much easier. Uptown takes care of our dogs like they were their own, and show them the love and fun that they would receive in our own home. Which we love, because when they spend time in daycare they come home and are exhausted! We've also used their grooming services for our golden retriever and would not take him anywhere else to get groomed. We love Uptown Pup, and won't go anywhere else. We also recently got married and had our dogs in daycare/boarding for the weekend but wanted a picture with them - Uptown Pup was overly accommodating and generous to help us make that happen!

We love Uptown Pup! They did awesome with my puppy and use a lot of positive based reinforcement. Brooke is a great trainer! They greet Sprout by name every single time we walked in even the very first time I had been there which shocked me. The girl who brings the dogs back is amazing with him. I love that I can really trust them with him

We have worked with Uptown Pup for training since we brought our golden retriever puppy home last year. We took the puppy start right class, the foundations class, and we also worked individually with Dustin in some at home sessions. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with all of it! Our puppy would not boast the good behavior she has today without the knowledge we gained from the classes at Uptown Pup. Highly recommend!

Can only speak to grooming -- I was sold on "puppy spa days" where they "get to know (pup) and make it a really positive low stress day" LOL. Leaving this for anyone else who might be considering...

My puppy was about 4 months old and left in a crate ALL day due to Zoe having a personal issue that "threw her schedule off". Neither Zoe or Manager (Alyssa) could acknowledge a simple phone call and I would've been happy to come get my puppy and reschedule to a better day.

I only found out when I pulled into parking lot at pick up time that they hadn't even "gotten to her yet can you come back in 15 minutes?". I can't believe I paid and tipped for this. She was suppose to receive fun attention, periodic learning about grooming procedures and yes, some time in a crate for rests.

In my opinion, this company doesn't have the empathy I would expect to execute a program like this. I find it hard to believe "Fear Free Certification" recommends putting a young puppy in a crate for 8 - 9 hours in a new environment?

***UPDATE to Company Response: We did email about this, and there was never a sense of apology, just excuses. I also spoke directly to Zoe over the phone, requesting a full recap of the day. She openly admitted my dog had not been attended to (short of brief potty breaks) until I showed up end of day. The attitude was indifferent at best regarding the situation.

I'm posting this 6 months later after a recent, positive trip to her new groomer which reminded me to make other folks aware of how this program might actually play out. I'm sure many older dogs have a great time here, but there seems to be a disconnect about how this would not be a good intro to grooming for baby dog.
